Stayed here over a long weekend recently. The idea behind this location is to disconnect from life, slow down and enjoy the countryside and all it has to offer, it certainly allows for this in spades. The accommodation is great, the huts are spacious with plenty of room, they offer a kitchenette and hot showers with a log burner for heat and cooking as well as a BBQ. The huts are located on a working farm, the owners are lovely and really want to help guests have a great stay. The fresh bread each morning was the highlight of my morning 😉 There is plenty to do locally from walks, country pubs and if you don't mind a bit of a drive some fossil hunting on the coast.

Totally loved Mount Pleasant farm as a getaway with our family and some friends. The location is beautiful, a calm, serene place with lovely views. This was our first time doing a rustic glam ping experience and I was a little worried as we had a 11 week old baby but it didn’t disappoint. The size of the cabins are great, the hot water shower is a perfect luxury and the beds were ever so comfortable! Our 3 year old son absolutely loved it and it was so amazing to be able to let him run around and jump on the hay barrels, visit the farm yard and be able to run free. The honesty shop is an excellent essential for anything you may have forgotten. The wood fire in the evening makes the cabin so cozy and the BBQ’s are brilliant. I would recommend hiring a camping stove or bringing your own to help speed up any cooking as the stove can take sometime. I would definitely do the farm tour as it’s so insightful to hear and see the workings of a true farm. Definitely do the pizzas as they were delicious and a brilliant activity for kids. Farmer Mike and Anna were so helpful and I would totally recommend Mount Pleasant farm. We will definitely come back again!

Gorgeous scenery, a Feather Down classic set up. Lovely walks and lovely pubs. Great to slow down and relax and the kids had great fun in the fields. A pretty nature walk nearby, lots of nature to spot and quintessential Dorset villages to explore.

This was our second trip to this particular Featherdown site and it did not disappoint. Such a beautiful spot and really well run. Even with COVID restrictions kids were able to feed lambs and pigs. Evenings round camp fire watching sunsets while kids played. Super comfortable tents.

This was our sixth Featherdown Farm experience and we didn't rate Mount Pleasant highly.||On arrival Anna was there to direct us to our tent and that was the last we saw of her. We were a group of 4 families who have 9 children ranging from 5 to 15, who have been going glamping since 2015. The children look forward to Featherdown every year, and especially this year as our original trip was cancelled due to COVID.||Firstly, there was absolutely nothing additional for the children to do. No pony grooming, no farm tour, no trampoline, no swing, etc. The honesty shop consisted of some firewood in a dirty stable - one of the highlights is the freedom to pop in and out and buy sweets, eggs, etc. Secondly, the chickens we had hired were not in the coops, we had to wait until 8.30 on the first night for them to arrive. When the children wandered off into the farm yard they were rudely told off as the farmer's elderly parents are shielding - absolutely understandable but could have been kindly explained in advance.||The tents were not clean, despite us being told we couldn't check in till 6pm because of the extra cleaning required due to COVID - filthy cutlery, dusty shelves, cobwebs, etc.||The showers are not user-friendly, they are either boiling or freezing. ||Paying £1 for
