The tent house offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Inside you will find a spacious living area with a cozy sofa and a large dining table where you can gather with the whole family or friends. Do you hesitate between inside or outside? On the veranda you'll find a lovely sheltered place under the awning, with a picnic table and lounge chairs for relaxing.

Fully equipped kitchen Cooking becomes an adventure in itself! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: from pots and pans to cutting boards, cutlery and - very important - a cheese slicer, egg cups and a milk frother. You store your food in the fridge box with cooling elements, and for coffee you grind your own beans with the coffee grinder.

Adventurous and cozy: life without electricity No electricity? That's what makes it extra special! The tent is attractively lit with oil lamps and candles, and cooking is done on the wood stove. There are logs ready to make it nice and warm and cozy. Do you dare?

    Cancellation Policy


    • Cancellations can only be considered if communicated in writing by the main booker.

    • More than 6 weeks before the start of the stay, the booking can be cancelled in writing free of charge. The main booker will receive a full refund of the deposit in this case.

    • In case of cancellation between 6 and 3 weeks before the start of the stay, you have the right to change the date of the stay to an alternative in the same calendar year, or to a refund of 50% of the booking value. If the new date is more expensive than the original date, an additional payment is required to cover the price difference. If the new date has a lower price, you are not entitled to a refund of the price difference.

    • In case of cancellation between 3 weeks and 1 business day before the start of the stay, there is no possibility to transfer the booking to another date. You will then receive a voucher of 25% of the booking value (rounded to the nearest value) to use for another booking within the same booking season.

    • In case of cancellation within 1 business day or early termination of the stay, the full booking amount is due and no refund is possible by BoerenBed.

    Really nice gardens. Nice to spend a few hours there. Free to park for members. It has a fantastic cafe with plenty of seating. The shop was good as well. We couldn't get in the house for some reason, i don't know if it was closed or just closed for that day.

    Glorious day at Hiscote. Early spring but still lots of interest in the beautifully presented gardens. So quiet and peaceful. Lovely walks from the grounds with views across the countryside. Dogs welcome most areas of the garden. Very friendly staff/volunteers on the day we attended.
