A really lovely and different experience. ||Our first time "glamping." The tent was nice and well enough equipped, and we all slept comfortably. We had a few niggles during our stay but these were nothing to do with our hosts at all who were beyond lovely and helpful.||We had issues with the shower. The temperature did not regulate at all which was far from ideal with young children. The outside shower was also a lot more rustic than I had expected from the pictures. ||The night the pizza oven was lit our tent also filled with smoke which smelt and made all of our belongings smell rancid. We found that the tent wasn't properly secured in the back corner so I question the ongoing maintenance done by Featherdown.||Our hosts were perfect. We all really enjoyed the farm tour and seeing the cows being milked and visiting the baby calves. ||We didn't use the onsite shop as there's plenty of supermarkets you pass on your days out. There is a good shower block which I used for phone charging.

This is a lovely cabin/tent which provides a great experience. My kids absolutely loved it. Very peaceful with lots of things to do if your prepared to travel. Salcombe is a reasonable drive and I fully recommend. The family who run this place are so warm and accommodating. They have local shop you can but essentials which are normal prices. We look to book again very soon. This most certainly be a go to place for a few days off.

We absolutely loved Billingsmoor farm. Jayne and Robert are great hosts. You have everything you need here for a comfortable camping trip. The shower and toilet facilities were a well kept luxury, the honesty shop was well stocked and there was a fridge , freezer , washing machine and a dryer available also. The pitches are a great size with the most incredible views. We are already planning a return visit next June. An absolute gem of a find!

A fantastic week at Billingsmoor. The views are amazing, epecially as the sun sets. We would highly recommend the ones with hot tubs, as the views were very special. The hot tubs themselves were great-we’ve had a poor experience elsewhere but these were well kept, easy to heat and keep hot, and roomy.||The honest shop was great with lovely local bacon and sausages and home cooked meals, croissants and baguettes available.||Jayne and Robert were so welcoming and we felt at home very quickly. We found the farm tour really interesting, and loved the opportunity to see that cows milked.||Had a great meal at the Lamb Inn at Silverton and great fun at the Bear Trail at Cullompton.||We were very sad to leave and hope to return. We’ve been to quite a few Featherdown farms now and this is our new favourite!

Spent a wonderful few days here with our young family. We were immediately made to feel welcome by Robert and Jane and were well looked after during our stay. The pitches are spacious and secluded with fantastic views of the countryside. Having our own toilet facilities on the pitch made for a very comfortable stay. The children loved the freedom of the setting and we all enjoyed time in the woodland and the newborn calf in the farmyard. We looked after some chickens on our pitch which kept us entertained and weren’t too noisy. The bbq box and breakfast baguettes were delicious and very good value, the honesty shop stocked everything we needed and the laundry and washing facilities were clean and modern. ||Dawlish Warren beach and The Fisherman’s Cot restaurant are both well worth a visit.||Can’t wait to return!!
