    The location is beautiful in the middle of nature, perfect for total relaxation. Easily accessible by car to then take the boat to the island. It is easy to combine with a city trip to Rotterdam or other cities nearby! The dome itself is tip-top with a lovely stove and cozy decor. The breakfast was extensive and delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy, thanks also to the nice managers and the nice people staying there!

    De locatie is prachtig in het midden van de natuur, perfect om helemaal tot rust te komen. Goed bereikbaar met de auto om vervolgens de boot te nemen naar het eiland. Het is gemakkelijk te combineren met een citytripje Rotterdam of andere steden in de buurt! De dome zelf is tip top in orde met een heerlijke stoof en een gezellige inrichting. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker en de sfeer was er heel gezellig, mede dankzij de leuke uitbaters en het gezellige volk die er verblijven!

    We stayed two nights at Feather Down Sunninglye Farm and it was a wonderful experience. The place is quiet, beautiful and full of nature. There are sheep, horses and chickens. We collected firewood from the field and used it to cook on the fire and in the wood oven. One night they turned on the pizza oven and we cooked a pizza ourselves and it was delicious. The kids really enjoyed animal time at 10am and exploring the farm. We also visited a field with water and rode a small boat and watched the fish. There was no electricity or heaters, but that made the experience even more special. Everything was simple and quiet and brought you closer to nature.

    جلسنا ليلتين في مزرعة “Feather Down Sunninglye Farm” وكانت تجربة رائعة. المكان هادئ وجميل ومليء بالطبيعة. فيه خراف وخيول ودجاج. جمعنا الحطب من الحقل واستخدمناه في الطبخ على النار والفرن الخشبي. في إحدى الليالي شغلوا فرن البيتزا وسوّينا بيتزا بأنفسنا وكانت لذيذة جداً. الأطفال استمتعوا كثيراً بوقت الحيوانات الساعة 10 صباحاً واستكشاف المزرعة. زرنا أيضاً حقل فيه ماء وركبنا قارب صغير وشاهدنا الأسماك. ما فيه كهرباء ولا دفايات، بس هذا الشيء خلّى التجربة مميزة أكثر. كل شيء كان بسيط وهادئ ويقربك من الطبيعة.

    We come every year with our dog. It's just fantastic and the staff is very friendly and accommodating!!! We enjoy every minute of our vacation!!! Every year again! There should be a bit more opportunities for dogs to play on the beach or in the grounds!!!

    Do you invite your locals via an event to taste, then make them pay for that same tasting of a little ice cream. I bought some products from their store and paid, but they cheerfully made me pay an extra 3 euros after the 'tasting'. I go around shouting and paid, but don't come back.

    Nodig je je lokale inwoners via een evenement uit om te proeven, laat je ze daarna betalen voor dat zelfde proeven van een klein beetje ijs. Ik kocht wat producten in hun winkel en betaalde, maar ze liet me na het 'proeven' vrolijk 3 euro extra afrekenen. Ik ga heen stennis schoppen en heb betaald, maar terug komen doe ik niet.

    Great campsite in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff and enough space to park the caravan. Also suitable for children as the "row of paths" has pictures & is so easy to remember. The pool was still closed, which is perfectly understandable for this time of year. The bathrooms & washing up area were also very clean & large enough. You can walk along the lake to the old town (about 20-30 mins). The larger shopping facilities can also be reached by car within a short time. We would love to come back.

    Toller Campingplatz an einer schönen Lage. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende und genügend Platz, um den Wohnwagen hinzustellen. Auch für Kinder geeignet, da die "Wegreihe" mit Bildern ausgestattet & so leicht zu merken ist. Der Pool war noch geschlossen, was für diese Jahreszeit aber vollkommen verständlich ist. Auch die Bäder & der Abwaschbereich waren sehr sauber & gross genug. Zu Fuss kann man am See entlang bis zur Altstadt (ca 20-30 Min) spazieren. Auch die grösseren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind innert Kürze mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
