    Today turned out to be an open day/information day and after an impromptu visit we were pleasantly received. We viewed 3 lodges completely and were surprised by the good quality!

    An average of three stars. Location is fine of this park, by car so in Hilversum and by train so in Utrecht and Amsterdam, which we did in our vacation week. Reception we received a warm welcome from a friendly young man, key, everything efficient. House with hot tub was not properly cleaned, superficially, everything redone. Heating did not work well in this cold week. Appealed to reception who would pass this on to park manager who really does nothing but does blame even though reception would not have passed this on, on feedback he says snarky. Low hearted, it is these very people who are the calling card, meanwhile we were left with the defects.

    Een gemiddelde van drie sterren. Ligging is prima van dit park, met auto zo in Hilversum en met de trein zo in Utrecht en Amsterdam, wat we ook hebben gedaan in onze vakantieweek. Receptie kregen we een warm ontvangst van een vriendelijke jonge man, sleutel, alles efficiënt. Huis met hottub was niet goed schoongemaakt, oppervlakkig, alles overgedaan. Verwarming werkte niet goed in deze koude week. Beroep gedaan op receptie die dit door zou geven aan de parkbeheerder die werkelijk niets doet maar wel de schuld geeft al zou de receptie dit niet hebben doorgegeven, bij terugkoppeling zegt hij snoeihard. Laaghartig, het zijn juist deze mensen die het visitekaartje zijn, ondertussen bleven wij met de gebreken.

    Park is still partly under construction. For example, there is no hospitality or swimming pool, etc. yet. It is located in a beautiful area. You walk from the park into the woods! What we found unfortunate was that the heating in the cottages was on the ceiling. This made it take a very long time before the cottage was a little on temperature. This was a big disadvantage when the temperature was below freezing. The cottages are very spacious, beautiful and practical. The sleeping area is separate, so noise from the living room is well muffled. The boy at the reception helped us very well during our stay! Maybe we will go here again in the future!

    Park is nog deels in aanbouw. Er is bijvoorbeeld nog geen horeca of zwembad, oid. Het ligt in een mooie omgeving. Je loopt vanaf het park zo het bos in! Wat wij jammer vonden was dat de verwarming in de huisjes aan het plafond zat. Hierdoor duurde het erg lang voordat het huisje een beetje op temperatuur was. Dit was bij een temperatuur van onder het vriespunt een groot nadeel. De huisjes zijn wel erg ruim, mooi en praktisch ingericht. Het slaapdeel zit apart, waardoor geluid vanuit de woonkamer goed wordt gedempt. De jongen van de receptie heeft ons goed geholpen gedurende ons verblijf! Misschien dat we hier in de toekomst nog een keer naar toe gaan!

    Beware. Scammers!!! They withhold your deposit if you don't return the cottage spotless at check out. Apparently you even have to vacuum the windows and polish the door handles. Reason for deposit not refunded was that there were child fingers on the window, they are family cottages by the way! There is nowhere communicated how to leave the cottage. Not recommended, deliberate scam.

    Let op. Oplichters! Ze houden je borg in als je het huisje niet brandschoon oplevert bij uitchecken. Blijkbaar moet je zelfs de ramen zemen en de deurklinken poetsen. Reden voor borg niet terugstorten was dat er kindervingers op het raam zaten, het zijn nota bene familie vakantiehuisjes! Er staat nergens gecommuniceerd hoe je het huisje moet achterlaten. Niet aan te raden, bewuste oplichting.

    We stayed at Residence Lage Vuursche for 2.5 weeks and are extremely enthusiastic about it. Beautiful bungalow, beautiful decor, stylish, good beds, private sauna, and unique location in the middle of the forest. We will definitely come back here more often when we are back in the Netherlands.
