On "Cast Away" island Tiengemeten you will find the most unique place in the Netherlands to spend the night. A special place that can only be reached by a small ferry, where cars are not allowed and you are surrounded by beautiful nature and hundreds of different birds.

Spend the night at the Glamping Cast Away Come spend the night at the most atmospheric glamping in the Netherlands. Right next to the inn they have realized 25 glamping accommodations. Here you can spend the night in attractively decorated, authentic tents.

The Safari tent has an interior of 9 square meters, a terrace of 6 square meters with a lovely bench and is fully equipped. So no lugging camping gear around. At Cast Away, you can enjoy the wonderful outdoors simply and carefree.

    Despite the good will of the staff, Tiny Parks leaves quite a few stitches. Upon arrival, our assigned Bell tent turned out to be still occupied.... We were assigned another tent and on the way there was a light cable hanging at throat level, which can cause accidents at night.... In the tent with the sheet pack made our bed, the thin fleece blanket, which I had was under the dried mud.... Tip, mention this in your website so guests can choose to bring their own sleeping bag.... At the reception the fleece blanket was replaced by warm horse blankets and the problem with the loose light cable was solved very quickly.... In our sanitary facilities there was no toilet paper and the garbage barrel was overflowing with loose dirt and really needed to be emptied.... Furthermore, we liked the bar snack in the evening.... Delicious salads, fresh steamed vegetables, delicious bread with sauces, very good quality meat and for the vegetarian shrimp skewers and Vega burgers.... In the evening the inn was very cozy and the board games and other games were widely used.... Outside there was a silent disco which seemed very fun and a cozy campfire was burning and marshmallows were burned.... The next morning breakfast was also delicious with American pancakes, boiled eggs, various toppings, nice juice and coffee and tea.... Too bad that the sweet toppings were offered without small cups, suggesting that they had to be spread on the spot, which is not convenient with a running buffet.... When paying the bill at check-out, things also went wrong. There was only 1 bottle of rosé and a cola registered in my name, in fairness we of course corrected this. I hope this review is not too negative, we certainly saw and experienced, that all the staff were very enthusiastic and customer friendly, but I still felt I had to mention the negative points, so that next time there can be an improvement.

    Ondanks de goede wil van het personeel laat Tiny Parks toch aardig wat steken vallen. Bij aankomst bleek de ons toegewezen Bell tent nog bezet te zijn... We kregen een andere tent toegewezen en op weg hing er een lichtjes kabel op keelhoogte, wat 's nachts ongelukken kan veroorzaken... In de tent met het lakenpakket ons bed opgemaakt, de dunne fleece deken, die ik had zat onder de opgedroogde modder... Tip, vermeld dit in je website, zodat gasten ervoor kunnen kiezen om zelf een slaapzak mee te nemen... Bij de receptie werd de fleecedeken vervangen door warme paardedekens en het euvel van de losse lichtjes kabel werd heel snel verholpen... Bij ons sanitair bevond zich geen toiletpapier en de vuilniston liep over van los vuil en moest echt geleegd worden... Verder heel goed vonden wij de barbeknoei 's avonds... Heerlijke salades, verse gestoomde groentes, heerlijk brood met sauzen, kwalitatief heel goed vlees en voor de vegetariër garnalenspiezen en Vega burgers... 's Avonds was het in de herberg heel erg gezellig en werd er veel gebruik gemaakt van de bord spelen en andere spelletjes... Buiten was er een silent disco die heel leuk leek en er brandde een gezellig kampvuur en werden er marshmallows gebrand... De volgende ochtend was het ontbijt ook heerlijk met American pancakes, gekookte eieren, verschillende soorten beleg, lekker sap en koffie en thee... Jammer dat het zoete beleg zonder kleine cupjes werd aangeboden, zodat de suggestie gewekt werd, dat dat terplekke gesmeerd moest worden, wat niet handig is met een lopend buffet... Met het betalen van de rekening met het uitchecken ging er ook van alles mis. Er was maar 1 fles rosé en een cola geregistreerd op mijn naam, eerlijkheidshalve hebben wij dit natuurlijk gecorrigeerd. Ik hoop niet dat deze review al te negatief is, we hebben zeker gezien en ervaren, dat al het personeel heel enthousiast en klantvriendelijk waren, maar ik vond toch dat ik de negatieve punten moest vermelden, zodat er de volgende keer een verbetering kan zijn.

    Above expectations fine stay. Out as it is meant to be. Back to you and nature. Connecting with other people in a very casual way. Eating at a long table, again just seeing people talking to each other and playing games or reading a book. Where do you see that these days!

    Beautiful island! The inn is a beautiful and nice place from which to explore the island. The tiny tent is a great place to stay. The food is delicious. You are welcomed hospitably and there is room for questions and a willingness to want to improve things. Tip: lots of demand to also offer lunch at the inn on Mon and Tues.
