Kampeerdorp de Zandstuve

A lovely campsite for children, entertainment every day and lots of playgrounds. Covered swimming pool for cold seasons.

We had booked a large house with the family. Very nice surroundings and park also looked neat. Too bad everything turned out to be closed. This did become clear to us before departure and after some discussion had the option to cancel. Property was spacious and beautiful. Also 3 private parking spaces and and fit more cars. Take away food in the restaurant was unfortunately not possible.

Kampeerdorp de Zandstuve is a popular family campsite in the Vechtdal region of Overijssel, ideally located for families with young children. The campsite offers various accommodations such as camping pitches, chalets and glamping lodges, all of which are neat and modern in appearance. The grounds are spacious with lots of greenery and small playgrounds in the fields, which is convenient for parents who want to keep an eye on their children. The entertainment program is extensive, with mascots such as Cobus the Owl entertaining children with shows and activities. The pool, both indoor and outdoor, is a plus, with slides and a paddling pool, although it can be a bit crowded in high season. Facilities, such as the Stuuf Square with restaurant, supermarket and indoor playground, are practical and well maintained. The sanitary facilities vary: some buildings are modern, others somewhat outdated, but generally clean. The surroundings are excellent for biking and hiking. Downsides are the paid wifi and sometimes long waits at reception or catering during peak periods. Prices are average for a five-star campground. All in all, a solid choice for a child-friendly vacation, with no real outliers up or down.

Beautiful , nice campsite, but with some downsides! We spent 2.5 weeks on this campsite with our caravan, private bathroom and 2 kids of 5 and 6. Positive : - Lots of entertainment for the kids - Very quiet at night, after 22.30 it is really quiet. - On each field is a small playground Negatives: - Most places with private sanitary facilities are small!!! -If you are assigned a car-free spot you have to put your car on the parking lot opposite the reception. This is very poorly indicated so everyone just put his car there when there is no place on the adjacent (too small) parking lot. If you go to report this is said then put him on the spot next door?!?!! Then someone else has no place anyway? - Indoor pool (outdoor pool too) is really small, if it rains and everyone goes inside swimming is not to do in terms of crowds. - There is 1 "main road" to the steering square and here bikes,stept, drive everyone through what often gave dangerous situations. - For wifi you have to pay In any case, our kids had a very nice vacation!

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf, alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd; aankomst, vertrek, brandschoon privé sanitair, mooie restaurants met lekker eten, fantastisch personeel, warme sfeer en animatie voor de kids.

Es war eine super schöne Woche die leider viel zu schnell rum war, aber wir kommen wieder . Wir waren jeden Tag schwimmen jeden Tag im Indoorspielplatz
