Sadly our experience was not a positive one. On arrival the owner was very unfriendly and unhelpful, really did not feel as if we were welcome. Her son speaks good english and he was a better host. On arrival we were also bombarded with 350 euros in additional cost; a ridiculous amount, well in excess of what Booking.com mentioned. Sadly, despite the 100 euro tourist tax, the owner was also unwilling to provide a roll of toiletpaper for our use. My summary is that they are more used to families and my own would have enjoyed the relaxed farm atmosphere a lot. But I cannot get over the hidden surprises in the cost, that really disappointed.

Idyllic campsite with no frills. We had a big get-together at the weekend and rented the whole site. Approx. 25 large pitches, always 2 pitches with small hedges as boundaries. Each pitch has fresh water and gray water, as well as electricity. Towards evening everything is illuminated and you can find your way around even in the dark. Wifi is included and available throughout the site, even the Firestick works without any problems. Cars are parked in the extra parking lot, which means more space on the pitch. The pitches are all grass, dense and straight, with no trip hazards. Pavilions are not permitted or may be available on request. There are small playgrounds for children between the pitches, so you can always keep an eye on them. The sanitary facilities are clean and there are also children's washbasins/toilets. If you are looking for or expecting "GLAMPING", you would certainly be wrong here. But if you are looking for peace and quiet and want to relax, this is the place for you. Dogs are allowed and there is a welcome bag with treats and poop bags. You can walk your dog here for hours and enjoy nature. There are shops about 6 km away, Jumbo and Aldi. The owners are really nice and helpful. And all at a good price. Our next meeting is already being planned and will take place here again. We arrived the day before yesterday and are delighted with the friendly welcome. This is our 4th time here and the campsite has lost none of its charm. Only the hedges have become a little higher ;-) and we are actually staying here for 4 weeks.

Idyllischer Campingplatz ohne schnick schnack.. Hatten am Wochenende Treffen in großer Runde und hatten den kompletten Platz angemietet. Ca. 25 große Parzellen, immer 2 Stck mit noch angehenden , kleinen Hecken als Begrenzung. Jede Parzelle hat Frischwasser und Grauwasser, sowie Strom. Gegen Abend ist alles beleuchtet und man kann auch bei Dunkelheit sich zurecht finden. Wlan ist inklusive dazu top und auf dem ganzen Platz verfügbar, selbst der Firestick läuft ohne Probleme. Autos werden auf dem extra angeboten Parkplatz abgestellt, was mehr Platz auf der Parzelle bedeutet. Die Parzellen bestehen nur aus Rasen, dicht und gerade, ohne Stolperfallen. Pavillons sind nicht erlaubt oder evtl auf Anfrage. Für Kinder gibt es kleine Spielplätze, die zwischen den Parzellen liegen, so dass man die Kids immer im Auge hat. Die Sanitäranlage ist sauber und für Kinder gibt es auch Kinderwaschbecken/ Toilette. Wer " GLAMPING "sucht oder erwartet, wäre hier sicher falsch. Wer aber Ruhe sucht und sich entspannen möchte,ist hier richtig. Hunde sind erlaubt und zur Begrüßung gibt es ein Tütchen mit Leckerchen und Kackbeutel. Mit der Fellnase kann man hier stundenlang Gassi gehen und die Natur genießen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in ca 6 km Entfernung, Jumbo und Aldi. Die Besitzer sind mega nett und hilfsbereit. Und das alles zu einem guten Preis. Unser nächstes Treffen ist schon in Planung und wird hier wieder stattfinden. Sind vorgestern wieder angekommen und freuen uns über die freundliche Begrüßung. Sind jetzt das 4. hier und der Campingplatz hat nichts von seinem Charme verloren. Nur die Hecken sind etwas höher geworden ;-) und wir bleiben tatsächlich 4 Wochen hier.
