    Nice Farmcamps glamping farm. There is a good variety for farmcamp visitors and daycare guests to be able to help out at Farmer Bart's. Kids have a great time and there is lots for them to do. Animals are easily accessible and there is a lot of walking around the tent.

    Leuke Farmcamps glamping boerderij. Er is een goede afwisseling voor de farmcamp bezoekers en de dagbesteding gasten om te kunnen helpen bij boer Bart. Kinderen kunnen zich prima vermaken en er is veel voor ze te doen. Dieren zijn goed bereikbaar en er loopt veel om de tent.

    We spent the weekend here with our two kids and they had the time of their lives. The huts are spacious with toilets in them, there was a big play ground with a bike riding area to play ‘highway’ for the kids and the kids are allowed to take part in the farm activities. Best of all, the hosts are so nice and friendly. We will definitely be going back there. Highly recommended!

    Very nice to cuddle with the cows. The young cows (6 months to a year) were sometimes a bit wild and gave head butts haha. That was a bit exciting. The adult cows in the barn were calmer and some of the calves you could also pet (most were scared). The cows here have a better life than in the standard livestock farming, the calves are allowed to stay with the mother for 3 months (normally they are taken away from the mother within a day which is very traumatic for both). However, the bulls will probably still go to slaughter after 3 months (because they are unfortunately not "useful") and the cows (females) are inseminated (made artificially pregnant) at the age of 1 year, then get a calf so they can provide milk to humans.

    Erg leuk om met de koeien te knuffelen. De jonge koeien (6 maanden tot een jaar) waren soms wel wat wild en gaven kopstoten haha. Dat was wel een beetje spannend. De volwassen koeien in de stal waren rustiger en sommige kalfjes kon je ook aaien (de meesten waren bang). De koeien hebben hier een beter leven dan in de standaard veehouderij, zo mogen de kalfjes 3 maanden bij de moeder blijven (normaal worden ze binnen een dag al weggehaald bij de moeder wat erg traumatisch is voor beide). Echter zullen de stiertjes na 3 maanden waarschijnlijk alsnog naar de slacht gaan (want zij zijn helaas niet "nuttig") en de koeien (vrouwtjes) worden op 1-jarige leeftijd geïnsemineerd (kunstmatig zwanger gemaakt), krijgen dan een kalf zodat ze melk kunnen leveren aan de mens.
