    We liked it and I think the overall rating is too low. We were there at the end of the Rhineland-Palatinate summer vacation and it wasn't that crowded. The bars on the roads outside the campsite are a bit annoying. It's quite loud when the cars "race over" them at night. However, you can probably only hear this on the outskirts of the campsite. There was loud music in the evenings at the weekend. Overall, we therefore give it 4.5 stars 😃

    Uns hat es gut gefallen und ich finde die Gesamtbewertung zu niedrig. Wir waren zum Ende der rheinland-pfälzischen Sommerferien dort und es war nicht so überfüllt. Etwas nervig sind die Gitter auf den Straßen außerhalb des Platzes. Das ist schon recht laut, wenn nachts die Autos "drüberrasen". Das hört man aber wahrscheinlich nur an den Randplätzen des Campingplatzes. Am Wochenende war abends lange laute Musik. Insgesamt geben wir daher 4,5 Sterne 😃

    We booked this park, but ended up choosing something else. This is a reservation for August 2025. In short, almost 7 more months until arrival. We indicated this by email so that the cottage could be made available to others immediately. The response was that if we cancel more than 3 months we have to pay 15% deposit! This of course does not make sense. Of course we understand that if you make a reservation within 3 months you have to pay a fee. After all, it becomes difficult to rent out your accommodation. This sounds primarily like a revenue model and is not a service. So if you cancel a year in advance, you will be charged anyway. In short: think carefully before you book this. Because we already don't feel like this vacation anymore!!!

    We hebben dit park geboekt, maar hebben uiteindelijk voor iets anders gekozen. Het gaat om een reservering voor augustus 2025. Kortom nog bijna 7 maanden tot aankomst. Dit hebben wij per email aangegeven, zodat de cottage meteen beschikbaar gesteld kan worden voor anderen. De reactie was dat wij bij annulering van meer dan 3 maanden 15% moeten aanbetalen! Dit slaat natuurlijk nergens op. Uiteraard snappen wij dat als je binnen 3 maanden nog reserveert dat je dan kosten moet betalen. Immers het wordt moeilijk om je accommodatie te verhuren. Dit klinkt vooral als een verdienmodel en is geen service. Dus als je een jaar van te voren annuleert dan kom je sowieso voor kosten te staan. Kortom: denk goed na voordat je dit boekt. Want wij hebben al geen zin meer in deze vakantie!!

    Our vacation at Camping de Pampel was truly top notch! The campsite is in the middle of the nature of the Veluwe, perfect for hiking and biking. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it really feels like you get away from it all! The restaurant is also highly recommended. The food was delicious and the staff was always friendly! The atmosphere at the campground is relaxed and fun and there is something for everyone to do. Me and my family will definitely come back here again!!!

    Onze vakantie bij Camping de Pampel was echt top! De camping ligt midden in de natuur van de Veluwe, perfect om te wandelen en te fietsen. Het terrein is mooi onderhouden en het voelt echt alsof je er even helemaal uit bent! Ook het restaurant is een aanrader. Het eten was lekker en het personeel was altijd vriendelijk! De sfeer op de camping is ontspannen en gezellig en er is voor iedereen wel wat te doen. Ik en mijn familie komen hier zeker nog eens terug!!

    Beautiful, medium-sized campsite with spacious sites. For children tm 11 years very nice with indoor playground, panna field, fun animation and swimming pool. The pool is too cold for my taste. Children have a great time with the slide. We book for next year again!

    Mooie, middelgrote camping met ruime plekken. Voor kinderen tm 11 jaar heel erg leuk met binnenspeeltuin, pannaveld, leuke animatie en zwembad. Het bad is te koud naar mijn smaak. Kinderen vermaken zich er echter heel goed met oa de glijbaan. Wij boeken voor volgend jaar weer!

    December 2024. Place booked for September 2025. Wonder what will be there then. Update as of 2-9-2022. Due to the heat and drought, there is practically no grass left. But it is still a large, quiet and beautiful campground. Wifi is still not included with the pitch, unfortunately. Update as of 16-9-2021. The grass was recently mowed, but the grass clippings are not collected and thus left behind. Especially now with lots of dew, you keep walking the clippings in. Many campsites have a mowing machine with a collection tray for the clippings. Should be allowed here too with the large lawns. Update as of 1-9-2021. Have now arrived for about 2 months. Spacious sites, nice and clean plumbing. The only minus point: there is no free WiFi. My experience is that many campsites do offer that for free these days to check email for example. Visited in November 2020 on a drizzly day to look for a 2021 pitch. Kindly received at the reception and thought along regarding a nice pitch. As far as I can tell now the campsite looks fine, good pitches and beautiful nature. Not able to rate the facilities, but for what I could see it will be fine. Once I go camping there, I will try to update the review if needed.

    december 2024. Plaats geboekt voor september 2025. Ben benieuwd wat er dan is. Update per 2-9-2022. Door de hitte en droogte is er praktisch geen gras meer. Maar het is nog steeds een grote, rustige en mooie camping. Wifi is nog steeds niet inbegrepen bij de staanplaats, helaas. Update per 16-9-2021. Het gras is pas gemaaid, maar het maaisel wordt niet opgevangen en blijft dus achter. Vooral nu met veel dauw loop je telkens het maaisel mee naar binnen. Veel campings hebben een maaimachine met opvangbak voor het maaisel. Zou hier ook wel mogen met de grote grasvelden. Update per 1-9-2021. Zijn nu aangekomen voor ca 2 maanden. Ruime plaatsen, mooi en schoon sanitair. Het enige min punt: er is geen gratis WiFi. Mijn ervaring is dat veel campings dat tegenwoordig wel gratis aanbieden om bijvoorbeeld email te bekijken. In november 2020 op een druiligere dag geweest om een plaats in 2021 te zoeken. Vriendelijk ontvangen op de receptie en meegedacht omtrent een mooie plaats. Voor zover ik nu kan nagaan ziet de camping er prima uit, goede plaatsen en een mooie natuur. Geen beoordeling kunnen geven op de faciliteiten, maar voor wat ik wel kon zien zal het wel in orde zijn. Zodra ik er ga kamperen, zal ik proberen de beoordeling aan te passen indien nodig.
