The tent house offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Inside you will find a spacious living area with a cozy sofa and a large dining table where you can gather with the whole family or friends. Do you hesitate between inside or outside? On the veranda you'll find a lovely sheltered place under the awning, with a picnic table and lounge chairs for relaxing.

Fully equipped kitchen Cooking becomes an adventure in itself! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: from pots and pans to cutting boards, cutlery and - very important - a cheese slicer, egg cups and a milk frother. You store your food in the fridge box with cooling elements, and for coffee you grind your own beans with the coffee grinder.

    • Cancellations can only be considered if communicated in writing by the main booker.

    • More than 6 weeks before the start of the stay, the booking can be cancelled in writing free of charge. The main booker will receive a full refund of the deposit in this case.

    • In case of cancellation between 6 and 3 weeks before the start of the stay, you have the right to change the date of the stay to an alternative in the same calendar year, or to a refund of 50% of the booking value. If the new date is more expensive than the original date, an additional payment is required to cover the price difference. If the new date has a lower price, you are not entitled to a refund of the price difference.

    • In case of cancellation between 3 weeks and 1 business day before the start of the stay, there is no possibility to transfer the booking to another date. You will then receive a voucher of 25% of the booking value (rounded to the nearest value) to use for another booking within the same booking season.

    • In case of cancellation within 1 business day or early termination of the stay, the full booking amount is due and no refund is possible by BoerenBed.

What you should know about the park

Feather Down Hoeve de Pippert is located in the middle of the floodplains of the Waal River, an area full of trails and ferries. This modern farm from 1845 has 180 dairy cows, 130 young stock and free-roaming chickens where you can look for eggs. Children can feed calves, play in the Slinger barn or tend animals such as the goat and horse. The Mariabos offers space for exploring and building huts, while Castle Ophemert across the street invites you to take a walk. The farmer will gladly take you on a ride through the floodplains with tractor and cart. You will stay in a cozy tent with private toilet and shower, without electricity, so you can really be together. Cooking can be done on a wood stove or outside on a BakBecue, while candlelight provides a cozy atmosphere. A unique place just an hour's drive from Utrecht!

    Wij zijn zeker niet te spreken over de service die BoerenBed heeft verleend. Het gaat om een boeking gedaan op 21 juni, geannuleerd op 21 juni, contact gehad op 22 juni en terugbetaling was op 21 juli. Deze boeking was voor de herfstvakantie dit jaar. Wij hebben een boeking gedaan en binnen een kwartier hebben wij deze willen annuleren per mail. Dit alles was in de avond. De volgende dag had ik nog geen bericht en heb ik heb gebeld. In plaats van enige coulance was het enige dat zij zeiden; ‘u kunt 70% van het betaalde bedrag terug krijgen’. Wij waren dus direct €150 euro armer zonder dat we er iets voor hebben gekregen. Ik heb aangegeven dat ik dit dus echt belachelijk vond en daar graag iemand over wilde spreken. Niemand heeft hierover contact opgenomen. Zij hebben in de kleine lettertjes staan dat je, zodra je de voorwaarde accepteert, afstand doet het wettelijke annulering termijn. Vervolgens hebben zij er bijna 4 weken over gedaan om het geld terug te storten. Ik snap dat je een deel van het geld inhoudt op het moment dat het op de korte termijn word geannuleerd, want ik begrijp dat je dan een verlies hebt van inkomen. In ons geval is dit niet zo daar we binnen een kwartier de annulering hebben door gemaild. Wij hadden graag kennis willen maken met dit concept maar deze gang van zaken heeft daar een behoorlijke smet op gelegd!
