Description

This energy efficient houseboat is made of sustainable materials and equipped with as many as 12 solar panels. The cozy houseboat has windows on all sides overlooking the popular Sneekermeer and is located in marina Waterrijck. The Sneekermeer guarantees maximum water (sports) fun! In the vicinity you can easily rent a sloop, sailboat or SUP.

Accommodation The sitting area is cozy and furnished with a cozy sitting area containing a spacious corner sofa, coffee table, television and separate armchair. At the dining table is a comfortable sofa and two loose chairs, with room for 4 people. From all sides in the living room you have a view of the adjacent Sneekermeer through the huge windows. The kitchen is located in the passage to the rear of the boat. An induction hob, combi microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator (with small freezer compartment), toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle, everything is present in this complete kitchen.

At the back of the ground floor houseboat you will find the 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms are equipped with a double bed (160x200cm), closet, bedside table(s) and bedside lamps. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower with glass door, bathroom cabinet and a towel radiator. There is also a separate toilet.

On both sides of the houseboat there are lovely terraces (together (10m2), the evening sun shines on the rear terrace. This terrace can be reached through the bedroom at the rear of the house. At the front of the house there is a terrace on the houseboat, here is a seat with two chairs and a table. Also on this side directly in front of the door there is a lovely lawn/garden (100m2) with a picnic table for cozy dining and 2 comfortable loungers. Via the fixed swimming ladder you can lower yourself into the water and have a lovely swim in the Sneekermeer.
The entire house (living room and bedrooms) are equipped with air conditioning so that even on hot summer days it is fine to stay in this beautiful place.

Unfortunately no pets are allowed in this house. For small children up to 2 years there is a crib and a highchair available.

Surroundings

From the accommodation you can enjoy a view over the Sneekermeer and beautiful natural monuments such as the sunrise and sunset, water birds and various boats. The Sneekermeer is the place to be if you like everything in and on the water. You can rent and experience almost everything in terms of water sports activities in this area. You can also enjoy lunch, drinks or dinner in the harbor at restaurant the Beachclub which is open both in summer and winter. Here you will also find the ferry to the starting island, a household name in Friesland. If you like water skiing or want to try something new, you can have fun at the water ski track which is within walking distance of the accommodation. About 7 km away you will find Sneek, a cozy town with nice restaurants and several surprising stores. Capital city Leeuwarden can be reached within 30 minutes by car, a cozy shopping city with plenty of terraces along the canals. In downtown Leeuwarden you will find great fashion stores, hip pop-up stores, cute boutiques, special shopping streets and hidden gems. Leeuwarden lends itself perfectly to a pleasant afternoon of shopping.

Located on this unique water sports area, a fantastic new port area has been developed under the name Waterrijck Sneekermeer. The houseboat is close to the Starteiland, you can reach all the Frisian lakes and where there is plenty to do.

    The location on Lake Sneeker is great. What a nice view we had. Easy to rent a boat nearby. We enjoyed. Cottage completely finished, great living area, plumbing was good.
