We came for a weekend with our little camper and enjoyed this place. The outdoor kitchen, neat outdoor bathroom and sophok, the animals, the view, the well-stocked self-service store (brilliant!), the beautiful surroundings and the friendly welcome made for a nice stay. There were also fire pits, a hot tub, sups and canoes available and you can even rent electric sloops. The original giga cowshed has been transformed into a nice furnished living room with separate seating areas. All created with love and attention to detail. We will be back!

We komen terug!

We rented an electric boat today. It was all very well: a warm welcome, sailing routes and maps and a fine boat! Nice round trip on the Tjeukemeer and visited the island with beach and the tea garden in Langelille visited where we had delicious coffee and cake. Highly recommended!

Aanrader!

Moderate stay had. The value for money is not right. Upon arrival there were no towels ready. They were later brought after reporting this. Ok, can happen. The beds were not made. For 160 euros per night you should expect that, I think. In terms of inventory, the kitchen is well equipped, but the dishwashing brush is so soft and worn that washing dishes is not good. The private shower next to the cottage consists of a hanging bucket with holes in it. Green algae grew out of it and it is impossible to mix a good temperature because the water in the bucket is difficult to mix. Of course, the damp spot next to the tent is also a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Consequently, the walls of the bedroom, among others, are full of flattened flies and mosquitoes. I slept three nights right next to a large, squashed humbug (cleaning could be better). The first night we barely slept anyway because we really had to kill dozens of mosquitoes. Fortunately, we brought our own electric fly swatters. Tip: put those standard in the tents, it keeps everything a lot cleaner. The next day we bought a mosquito net at Action, but it should be standard equipment in the tent with all those flies and mosquitoes (tip #2). Further poor sleep due to nightly screaming around the nearby farms and cars tearing across the road. And a snoring neighbor in the tent next to us, but of course that's just bad luck. It's not a quiet place anyway. You can hear the road very well and there is noisy agricultural traffic. That thumps enormously. The other traffic also drives way too fast. In the morning we were woken up at 6:30 a.m. by the rooster in the yard and the agricultural machinery on the land around the campsite and across the road. The view is nice, though. You have a nice view away from you, but against a dike. So you can see a boat sailing behind the dike in the distance. The beach chairs on the terrace are not very comfortable: they are much too big and pinch your knees when you sit in them. Filling them with the cushions inside makes it somewhat more comfortable. All in all, no relaxing chairs or benches to sit comfortably in or near the tent. So as far as we are concerned, really not worth the 165 euros per night for two. For that money you book elsewhere a quiet cottage including breakfast. Addition to comment Smuk: - Ever heard of call signs vs baptisms? - I do think the fact that you are a small family business is a lame excuse for our experiences. - We have been camping with our own tent for years, so we are really used to some things.

Matig verblijf gehad. Gelukkig hadden we onze eigen elektrische vliegenmeppers mee.
