Farmer Piet and farmer's wife Marije met thanks to a little help from her father, and now they run this unique farm together with daughter Eva. Here you can take care of animals, do adventurous pole vaulting or go on a belly slide. This place is all about fun and surprising moments, where young and old feel at home.     Spent a long weekend with farmer Pete, farmer's wife Marije and their daughter Eva last year. What a great place for children and therefore parents. Small-scale, cozy and warm. Most of the tents are right next to a playing field and therefore the children can move freely. Farmer Marije takes every guest into farm life with lots of love. There is plenty to do during the day, from roasting marshmellows by the campfire to fun craft activities. The play barn is also great for the kids! We will definitely be back!     Vorig jaar een lang weekend bij boer Piet, boerin Marije en hun dochter Eva doorgebracht. Wat een geweldige plek voor kinderen en daarmee ook ouders. Kleinschalig, knus en warm. De meeste tenten staan direct aan speelveld en daardoor kunnen de kinderen heerlijk vrij bewegen. Boerin Marije neemt iedere gast met heel veel liefde op in het boerderijleven. Er is genoeg te doen gedurende de dag, van marshmellows roosteren bij het kampvuur tot leuke knutselactiviteiten. De speelschuur is ook fantastisch voor de kinderen! Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!     We had a wonderful vacation at De Bonte Fries! We have never been so close to real farm life. Amazing experiences for children and adults! Mareije and Piet are particularly warm hosts who try to fulfill all wishes and are always on the farm with a smile. The camp is also an ideal base for trips to the sea or into town. An absolute recommendation!!!

    Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub bei De Bonte Fries! So nah waren wir am echten Farmleben noch nie dran. Überwältigende Erlebnisse für Kinder und Erwachsene! Mareije und Piet sind besonders herzliche Gastgeber, die versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen und immer mit einem Lächeln auf dem Hof unterwegs sind. Auch für Ausflüge ans Meer oder mal in die Stadt, ist das Camp ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!!!

    A beautiful place where the animals run free. It was amazing to see bunnies and hens roam freely outside our tent. The most unforgettable experience had to be when we got to be in close proximity with the horses at sunset. They are such curious creatures. Marije, Piet and Eva are kind and lovely hosts who made us feel welcome. Marije also makes a good fire for roasting marshmallows. You have to try it! Thank you for having us! ❤️

    1 of the best vacations around, from day 1 the hostess proved what a top lady she is by taking care of my nephew of 2 years who suddenly became sighted. She does everything to give her guests a top vacation with all the extras you can book and ask for, nothing is too much for her! The many jobs where you can help are made especially for young and old where you can see how a farm works and runs daily, you see that Marije really lives to be among people and farmer Piet also likes to share his passion of the farm with 'outsiders', I am very happy to get to know these people, next year we will definitely come back for a longer period!

    1 van de beste vakantie's die er bestaan, van dag 1 bewees de gastvrouw al wat een topdame ze is door haar te ontfermen over mijn neefje van 2 jaar die plots zien werd. ze doet er alles aan om haar gasten een topvakantie te bezorgen met alle extra's die je kan boeken en vragen, niks is haar teveel! De vele klusjes waarbij je kan helpen zijn speciaal gemaakt voor jong en oud waarbij je kan zien hoe een boerderij dagelijks werkt en draait, je ziet dat Marije echt leeft om tussen de mensen te komen en boer Piet evenal graag zijn passie van de boerderij deelt met 'buitenstaanders', ik ben enorm blij om deze personen te mogen leren kennen, volgend kaar komen we zeker terug voor een langere periode!

    Returned today from our wonderful weekend at De Bonte Fries. We stayed in tent Jetske, what a lovely place. Really fantastic, child friendly and clean. The farmer and farmer's wife are really friendly and thoughtful. We really enjoyed ourselves with our 4 children (between 5 months and 10 years old). Something for everyone. Thanks for your hospitality, we would love to come back again!

    Vandaag teruggekomen van ons heerlijke weekendje bij De Bonte Fries. We verbleven in tent Jetske, wat een heerlijk plekje. Echt fantastisch, kindvriendelijk en schoon. De boer en boerin zijn echt ontzettend vriendelijk en meedenkend. We hebben echt genoten met onze 4 kinderen (tussen de 5 maanden en 10 jaar oud). Voor elk wat wils. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid, we komen graag nog eens terug!
