General information

The 4 luxury five-person tents all have their own kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has 2 box spring beds and the other room has bunk beds and a single bed.

The Accommodation These luxury safari tents are on the edge of the vacation park and have a view of the Kuinderbos. The front of the tents can be partially unzipped, turning the kitchen into an outdoor kitchen. The spacious deck terrace with comfortable lounge sofas borders a beautiful pond. The tents have scaffolding wood furniture and the kitchen is also made of scaffolding wood. One bedroom has 2 separate box spring beds (which of course can also be put together) and there is a room with a bunk bed and a single bed. The tents have a spacious bathroom with comfortable shower (obviously with hot water), toilet and bathroom cabinet. Air conditioning can both cool and heat the tent. In addition, there is a gas heater in the tent that provides pleasant warmth when it cools down a bit in the evening.

The vacation park In the yard there are several pieces of playground equipment; there is an air trampoline, a tennis court, volleyball court, soccer field and there are go-karts for small children. There is a covered area with various playground equipment.

Surroundings The small-scale vacation park Eigen Wijze is located on the border of Overijssel, Flevoland and Friesland. The park lies on the edge of the Kuinderbos, which is crisscrossed by many miles of hiking, cycling and bridle paths. What you should know about the park

Holiday park Eigen Wijze is a small-scale glamping in Flevoland with some beautiful safari tents by the water.     In October 2023, we held our wedding at Own Wise; the ceremony and dinner in the grape greenhouse, the party in "The Living Room. Communication throughout the entire process with Wietze and Han was very pleasant. Also on the day itself, the team of Eigen Wijze made sure everything was well taken care of. In consultation really everything is possible and the park has good connections with companies in the area including wedding cakes and shared dining. The grape greenhouse in the fall was really beautiful, and we found the living room to be a cozy crowd for our guests (about 100 people) for a good party in the evening.

    In oktober 2023 hebben wij op Eigen Wijze onze trouwerij gehouden; de ceremonie en het diner in de druivenkas, het feest in ‘De Huiskamer’. Communicatie tijdens het gehele traject met Wietze en Han was erg plezierig. Ook op de dag zelf heeft het team van Eigen Wijze ervoor gezorgd dat alles goed verzorgd was. In overleg is echt alles mogelijk en het park heeft goede connecties met bedrijven in de omgeving met o.a. bruidstaarten en shared dining. De druivenkas in het najaar was echt prachtig, en de huiskamer vonden wij voor onze gasten (circa 100 mensen) een gezellige drukte voor een goed feest in de avond.

    The campsite is a non-parceled meadow area. There is an electricity column on one side next to the driveway and also an electricity column opposite the driveway at the other end of the camping area, which also has a hole for waste water at the bottom (very large, any hose will actually fit in there) and a small tap to press. A hose connection for fresh water is not possible, not even with a "water thief". If you are not standing near the columns, you need a very long power cable.

    Der Campingplatz ist ein nicht parzelliertes Wiesengelände. Es gibt an einer Seite neben der Einfahrt eine Stromsäule und gegenüber von der Einfahrt am anderen Ende des Campingbereichs ebenfalls eine Stromsäule, die auch ein Loch für Abwasser unten hat (sehr groß, da passt eigentlich jeder Schlauch rein) und einen kleinen Wasserhahn zum Drücken. Ein Schlauchanschluss für Frischwasser ist nicht möglich, auch nicht mit einem "Wasserdieb". Wenn man nicht in der Nähe der Säulen steht, braucht man ein sehe langes Stromkabel.
