Very nice campsite, very quiet in the low season (mid-September). In the high season, children will definitely have a great time here. There are animals everywhere, space, just great. 👍 Dogs are allowed and welcome!-)😃 The people are very friendly (like all Dutch people). Electricity, WLAN and cold water are included in the basic price. Hot water for shower, baby washbasin, dishwashing, washing / brushing teeth costs though😤. If you want to leave a few days earlier, this is unfortunately also not possible, or the money for the booked stay is gone👎. It's a shame really, it's the little things that make the place bad. But the area is first class and for us it means: first reserve a night, then see what it looks like on site. ⛺ 🏕️ Greetings siggi 👋

We were there with our motorhome (2 adults, 1 child & 2 dogs) for the weekend in September 2024. We come from Hamburg/ Stade. It was a mega great weekend for us. We will be back!!!!! Such lovely people who run it there, we were always met with a smile. There was so much for the children. A large climbing play tower, horses (which you can also ride/book), donkeys, alpacas (walk/book), goats, rabbits, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, cats, deer and Olaf the little Shetty pony who is allowed to run free. Kettkar, bicycles and other vehicles are available at no extra charge. There are already shovels, molds etc. in the sandpit. Clean toilets and showers. 5 min. shower = €0.50 Pitches on grass/ normal size with electricity and some with direct water. Close to the campsite is a wonderful little forest lake for swimming, souping, fishing, bathing and walking. You can walk for hours around the campsite. There is also a small restaurant, which we didn't use, but the premises look very inviting.

Small campsite with animal enclosures and horses. In a hall there is a table football table, a pool table, air field hockey table and various other toys and books. But everything is pretty dirty and run down. The sanitary facilities are okay, but very cold and not always clean. You should be able to speak English, you won't get far with German. There's not much around. We were there from Fri - Sun. On Friday we noticed that a private party was taking place on the site throughout the day, which meant that loud music could be heard all day and it was very lively. We pre-ordered three pizzas at reception at around 4:30 pm on Friday, which were to be delivered to our pitch at 6:40 pm. We canceled the order at reception shortly before 5 p.m. because we decided to eat out. When we got back to the caravan at 6:10 pm, there were 3 ice-cold and burnt pizzas in front of the awning. When we checked out, they insisted that we pay for these three pizzas. Mind you, we had canceled them 1 hour and 40 minutes before the originally requested delivery date, but they were still delivered (the pizzas were originally ordered for 6:40 pm, at 6:10 pm they were lying ice cold in front of the awning). The 2nd negative point is the organization of the pony rides. At check-in we were told that we could visit the pony rides spontaneously. When we decided to go on Saturday, it was apparently too late at 3pm, so we were told to be at the stables at 9:45am the next morning. We were there on time so that our older son could go pony riding for 45 minutes (€20). Unfortunately, it was very disorganized, nobody knew about our reservation. It worked out anyway and we were told on site that our younger son could also try it out. So he also chose a helmet and was lifted onto the pony. However, he started crying straight away, so we immediately took him off the pony again. The pony ride started about 10 minutes later. At check-out, we were shocked to learn that we had to pay for the pony ride for our younger son too. An absolute cheek and a pure rip-off. Furious, the operator told us that we had to pay for both the pony ride (we ended up paying 50%) and the three pizzas (full price) and that we should leave immediately. We are appalled by this behavior and absolutely cannot recommend a stay here. We go to 8-10 campsites a year and have never experienced anything like this! I still have around €30 left from a voucher at this campsite and I'm annoyed about every cent I'm giving the campsite because we will certainly never go here again!
