For lovers of the good and active outdoors who want only the very best, staying in a luxuriously furnished safari tent at Casa Tartufo is a unique experience. Our small-scale location offers fantastic panoramic views, plenty of space and excellent amenities. The sturdy safari tents are made of heavy canvas and have a wooden frame, giving them a warm, luxurious feel.

At Casa Tartufo, you can now rent private bathroom facilities. Enjoy your own bathroom without waiting, with a shower, toilet, sink and storage closet. The raised wooden terrace under the tent offers extra comfort and is moisture and cold proof.

These safari tents have two large lockable sleeping cabins, ample storage space and cozy furnishings with double lining for extra insulation. With windows equipped with mosquito netting, a spacious living area of 13m² and a height of 320 cm, the tent feels spacious and comfortable.

Enjoy the veranda with continuous awning, an additional shade cloth and hammock. The master bedroom has a double bed and the children's room has bunk beds and a single bed. The natural design of the tent completes your stay.

    Cancellation Policy


    Cancellation of a reservation must be communicated to the provider by e-mail.

    There are costs associated with a cancellation.

    • If cancelled up to the 42nd day (excluding) before the day of departure: the deposit;
    • for cancellation from the 42nd day (inclusive) to the 28th day (exclusive) before the day of departure: 60% of the travel sum;
    • for cancellation from the 28th day (inclusive) to the departure day: 90% of the travel sum;- for cancellation on the arrival day or later the full travel sum. It is advisable to take out cancellation insurance for this purpose.

    Changes, other than location and rental period, can be communicated to the provider at least 2 weeks before arrival. There is no charge for changes.

    Please note: Changes in accommodation are subject to cancellation.

  • Payment information

    5.1 The 30% deposit must be paid within 8 days of booking.

    5.2 The balance of 70% of the total amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival.

    5.3 For bookings made within 6 weeks before arrival, the total travel sum must be paid immediately.

    5.4 If payment is not made on time, Lodgeholidays has the right, after a reminder by e-mail, to cancel the booking, in which case the principal of the reservation will be held liable for the cancellation.

    5.5 In case of negligent payment, the principal of the reservation shall be liable for all judicial and extrajudicial costs and possible interest.

    In 2024 we stayed at the campsite, so can't really write anything about the rooms therefore 4🌟🌟but I also happened to be with three guests in three different apartments. Because all children play with each other very quickly 🌈the rooms looked good and I could not detect any odors, as suggested in other reviews. Of course, it remains a beautiful, historic farmhouse and not a concrete hotel on the Turkish Riviera. Hot water at the shower was plentiful, and that while the campground was half full. All in all: you will see me back at this campsite in 2025. Until the construction period! We are already looking forward to it! Delicious!!!!! Pizza nights💪🥰 and of course the bbq🔥🔥 not everyone comes here to rest so a campsite for everyone.

    In 2024 verbleven wij op de camping, kan dus niet echts iets schrijven over de kamers daarom 4🌟🌟maar ik ben ook bij toeval ben ik bij drie gasten in drie verschillende appartementen geweest. Want alle kinderen spelen heel snel met elkaar 🌈de kamers zagen er goed uit en ik kon geen luchtjes ontdekken, zoals in andere reviews werd gesuggereerd. Het blijft natuurlijk een prachtige, historische boerderij en geen betonnen hotel aan de Turkse Rivièra. Warm water bij de douche was er voldoende, en dat terwijl de camping halfvol was. Al met al: je ziet mij in 2025 weer terug op deze camping. Tot de bouwvak! Wij hebben er nu al zin in! Lekker!!!!! Pizza avonden💪🥰 en natuurlijk ook de bbq🔥🔥 niet iedereen komt hier om uit te rusten dus een camping voor iedereen.

    We went to Italy with the idea of: dolce far niente but with some Dutch thoroughness (within the Italian rural possibilities such as limited wifi) Read: quality. It was indeed: relaxed, lovely pool for the cool down dive, great pizza in a lovely ambiance etc. And that the roads gave you the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere added to the experience.     Wij gingen naar Italië met het idee van: wel dolce far niente maar met wat Hollandse degelijkheid (binnen de Italiaanse rurale mogelijkheden zoals beperkte wifi) Lees: kwaliteit. Dat was het inderdaad: relaxed, heerlijk zwembad voor de afkoelduik, geweldige pizza in een heerlijke ambiance etc. En dat de wegen je het gevoel gaven in the middle of nowhere te zijn voegde toe aan de ervaring. Aanbevolen dus.

    A super cool campground. The owners Ben and Sabine Stroo make you feel welcome in their home. Very enthusiastic and sweet people. The pizza and BBQ night are highly recommended. We will definitely go here again. This year 2023 we went to Casa Tartufo again. A great bunch of hard working people who have created something very beautiful. We slept in the apartment described in a previous comment as very bad. A very nice and absolutely not damp apartment. We now slept in the apartment in the picture for the third time. Also had no problem in the spring. Well a small other problem which was solved immediately by the owner. They also organize fun outings such as an excursion to an olive oil factory, pizza and BBQ evenings organized by themselves. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.

    Een super gave camping. De eigenaren Ben en Sabine Stroo geven je het gevoel dat je welkom bent in hun huis. Erg enthousiaste en lieve mensen. De pizza- en BBQ-avond zijn een aanrader. We gaan hier zeker nog eens naar toe. Dit jaar 2023 zijn we weer naar Casa Tartufo geweest. Een geweldig stel hard werkende mensen die iets heel moois hebben neergezet. Wij sliepen in het appartement wat in een vorige reactie als heel slecht wordt omschreven. Een heel mooi en absoluut niet vochtig appartement. Wij sliepen nu voor de derde maal in het appartement op de foto. Ook in het voorjaar geen probleem gehad. Wel een klein ander probleem wat gelijk door de eigenaar werd opgelost. Ook organiseren ze leuke uitjes zoals een excursie naar een olijfolie makerij, pizza- en BBQ avonden door hun zelf georganiseerd. Kortom echt wel een aanrader! Wij komen op zeker nog een keer terug.

    If you are looking for a campsite with only Dutch people which is very suitable for a family with small children in the middle of nowhere on a mountain in Italy then Casa Tartufo is the place to be. Unfortunately this was not what we were looking for. The campsite works with an app for all services, trips and checkout at the bar. This comes across as distant to us. But that is a choice. Then at least provide good wifi at the campsite. The excuse that this is not possible at this location in Italy is beyond us. Unfortunately, the water pressure on the campsite was also not up to standard, so sometimes you had no water on your pitch and when showering. The campground is very remote so you have to spend a long time in the car for everything. We missed a village within walking distance for a bar, ice cream and small messages. The pitches are large and have plenty of shade yet light (no forest). The sandwiches you can order at the campsite are fine. Plumbing was ok, not always fresh, but that is also due to the people using it. Swimming pool is large and has different levels. Especially for families with young children very nice. We missed paracols or shade cloths by the pool beds. The pool is in full sun almost all day. Reading a book on a beach bed was therefore unbearable for us. There are 3 hiking trails from the campground. We walked the red/orange route. We can recommend this one. On top of the mountain your climb up is rewarded with a magnificent 360 degree view!

    Als je op zoek bent naar een camping met alleen maar Nederlanders welke zeer geschikt is voor een gezin met kleine kinderen in the middle of nowhere op een berg in Italië dan zit je op Casa Tartufo helemaal goed. Helaas was dit niet waar wij naar op zoek waren. De camping werkt voor alle service, uitstapjes en afrekenen bij de bar met een app. Dit komt op ons afstandelijk over. Maar dat is een keuze. Zorg dan in ieder geval wel voor goede wifi op de camping. Het excuus dat dit op deze locatie in Italië niet mogelijk is gaat er bij ons niet in. Helaas was de waterdruk op de camping ook niet op orde waardoor je soms geen water had op je kampeerplek en bij het douchen. De camping ligt erg afgelegen waardoor je voor alles lang in de auto moet zitten. Wij misten een dorpje op loopafstand voor een barretje, ijsje en kleine boodschap. De kampeerplaatsen zijn groot en hebben voldoende schaduw en toch licht (geen bos). De broodjes die je kan bestellen op de camping zijn prima. Sanitair was oké, niet altijd even fris, maar dat komt ook door de mensen die het gebruiken. Zwembad is groot en heeft verschillende niveaus. Zeker voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen heel fijn. Wij misten paracols of schaduwdoeken bij de bedjes bij het zwembad. Het zwembad ligt bijna de hele dag in de volle zon. Een boekje lezen op een strandbedje was hierdoor voor ons niet uit te houden. Vanaf de camping zijn 3 wandeltochten uitgezet. Wij hebben de rood/oranje route gelopen. Deze kunnen we aanraden. Bovenop de berg wordt je klim omhoog beloond met een schitterend 360 graden uitzicht!
