We visited the campsite in July 2023, spent 2 nights there, paid 131 euro for a car, a medium tent, 2 adults and a 5 year old child. The campsite was not quite to our liking, we prefer smaller, more family friendly campsites. The location is not quite ideal either, although it is on a cliff above the sea, so there is a nice view from the restaurant, but you have to walk to the beach, drive or there is a train every hour from the hotel (free). Otherwise we had no problem here. The campsite has a shop, restaurant and a large playground. I can't rate the swimming pool. The beach down in the bay was fine, pebble beach (prefer water shoes), free but there were areas with sunbeds/umbrellas for hire, playground, snacks. From the campsite it was a short walk into town to the store, ice cream, etc. Sistiana doesn't seem to have a historic (or at least nice) town center to go for walks, etc (or at least we didn't discover it :) Nice hiking trails up on the cliffs above the sea though, you can walk to Duino Castle for example (but probably more interesting as a sight-seeing destination while walking).

Kemp jsme navštívili v červenci 2023, strávili jsme zde 2 noci, za osobní auto, střední stan, 2 dospělé a 5-leté dítě jsme platili 131 euro.

We stayed in our campervan. +Very friendly & helpful man at reception + the trees are tall enough to shade the camper van plots +the toilets and showers are clean -no free wifi except in the cafe and that is slow -the ladies toilets and facilities in 2 of the blocks were closed down but we weren't informed of this before choosing our plot -showers are included in the price but the water could have been hotter -the cafe is pricey and not great -there is nowhere nice to sit and enjoy the view -the road is very loud -bit pricey for what you get compared to other camp sites

We stayed at the campsite for 2 days. This was our third time here, but not again. We have the ACSI Card and were offered a pitch at the back of the site, a better pitch would have cost 12 euros more. The many permanent campers surprised us with their very peculiar way of occupying a pitch. Hardly any of the pitches were kept, everywhere a neighboring pitch was occupied as a matter of course. This urgently needs to be checked. The prices in the restaurant are also overpriced. The view of the harbor is unfortunately no longer so good, as many trees etc. impair the view. The pool is nice, but unfortunately the construction work is disturbing. And the pool attendant was more concerned with his cell phone than with supervision. The swimming cap requirement was not or hardly checked and the local youngsters had fool's freedom -- jumping in, playing ball and without a swimming cap.

I am always surprised at how inflexible the campsite operators are. The ageing site is only used to maximize profits. No consideration is given to the fact that the size of motorhomes has increased in recent years. On this site, no vehicle longer than 7 m can get around the corner or to the pitches without scraping. Everything is full of hedges and trees blocking the access road. The sanitary facilities are clean but no longer up to date. The only change is a wellness temple! Who needs that? The so-called environmental tax of € 2.80 per day and person needs to be explained in addition to the already very high daily price for this campsite. What is this for? Does the operator buy his way out of a certain tax with this amount, because proper waste separation looks different.
