Surroundings

Cannes

The beautiful coastal town of Cannes is famous for its beautiful beaches, luxury shopping and glamorous events such as the Cannes Film Festival. Visit the Promenade de la Croisette, a picturesque waterfront promenade with high-end stores, hotels and restaurants. Or head toward one of the many beaches such as Plage du Midi or Plage de la Boca. The historic district of Le Suquet has quaint winding streets and old-fashioned charm. At the bustling Forville market, you'll find fresh produce, flowers and local specialties. Cannes' local cuisine includes plenty of fresh seafood, traditional Provençal dishes and delicious French wines. And of course, a visit to the Palais des Festivals, where the Cannes Film Festival takes place every year, is a must.

Visit Fréjus

Just a 15-minute drive from the campground is the town of Fréjus. The unique town owes its name to its extraordinary heritage. If you are a lover of art and history, you are in the right place. The town is full of museums, cathedrals and remnants of Roman rule such as the aqueduct and amphitheater. The seaside town on the Azure Coast also has beautiful Mediterranean beaches with a breathtaking panorama of the azure Mediterranean Sea. Also visit the fun Provencal traditional (evening) markets. Various festivals are organized throughout the year: the celebration of the grape harvest, fireworks, music festivals, theater and in July and August the theater festival des Nuits OFF is a great spectacle.

Saint-Tropez

Saint-Tropez was once a small fishing village that became popular in the 1950s and 1960s as a destination for artists and celebrities. Since then, the town has become an upscale and exclusive seaside resort. The old town, known as La Ponche, has authentic narrow streets and picturesque houses. In the harbor area, luxury yachts can be seen and you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife.

The surroundings of Leï Suves

The immediate surroundings of the campground offer many options where you can enjoy the great outdoors. The hiking trails and bike paths will take you along the beautiful scenery. There are many monuments to visit in the area. There is well-preserved fauna and flora and also the sandy beaches and clear blue sea 12 kilometers away offer the perfect location for a beautiful walk.

Very nice campsite. Very nice entertainment, clean pool lacks a slide, sanitary impeccable. I'm modifying because now there are slides, so it's perfect.

Campground has spacious sites with one new toilet block and the other being addressed. The camping staff is very friendly. We were there in September and the campground was practically full. Most guests are from the Netherlands, many of whom come once or twice a year (June / September). Much "us knows us" content. There is a highway 2km away from the campsite and you can hear the barking of dogs from a nearby animal shelter. The WiFi is good but not free (€15/week). The pool is nice and large and heated. However, the pool has a strangely outdated entrance that really needs to be renewed.

Visited in late season with caravan (so mostly "gray" visitors, no children, no crowds and no animation ( :-) ) Beautiful campsite with lots of caravan/tent spots. Not too far from the coast, but far enough to avoid the giga campsites with small pitches. At the back of the campsite there are the inevitable chalets and mobile homes, but on Lei Suves you really have a camping experience. Beautiful spacious sites. Lovely swimming pool, beautifully landscaped campsite with oak trees and lots of flowering plants. Really nicely done! Sanitary buildings spotless and kept up throughout the day. Highly recommended!!!

Aanrader!!

Good afternoon, we were recently at your campsite. Although your opening hours are until 18:00, we were kindly met by a lady until 19:00. On the way there, our bike rack broke. It took us about 4 hours to find a bike rack shop to assemble a new one, dismantle it and install it. At the campsite where we had a reservation, we were turned away, with the excuse that we knew that all the pitches were taken.... We had originally intended to stay two nights at your campsite. But because of the wonderful welcome, the excellent staff, the neat and well-maintained campsite, we stayed 5 nights at your campsite. To work in the camp and with the people in it, one must have a generous heart, soul, social sense and feel a sense of belonging to the collective. We felt and enjoyed all this and more at your camp and more! We thank you for everything you have done for us and for everything we have enjoyed. May the angels continue to guard you! Thank you Melita and Vlado

Dober dan, pred kratkim sva bila v vašem kampu. Hvaležna Melita in Vlado

Nice campground, nice pool and clean nice toilets. Beautiful area for touring, just a pity that cycling is difficult (not safe) on the roads around the campsite.

Very expensive, the luxury chalet very basic, no toilet paper available, no sheets available (you can rent per person € 18), the men are not allowed with shorts in the pool ..., and very awkward you must first mandatory under a shower if you want to enter the pool, the luxury chalet was very inimini. Small beds and very small rooms with only 20 cm on each side of the bed to walk and that's it. The showers very basic, inconvenient with small children.
