    Lovely family shaded campground right on the Lot River for water fun and cooling. Casper and Daniek are friendly, enthusiastic and hospitable. The grilled chicken (Sunday) and pizza (Thursday) are 'extraordinaire'. We were in a safari tent (good beds; complete amenities; no plumbing; wheeled kitchenette!) 2 wks in July 2024. Activity tips nearby: pleasant 'marché de producteurs de pays' in the villages around (in Saint-Parthem on Wednesday); long forest walks of 2 to 4 hours with at least 200 meters of ascent, e.g. at La Vinzelle, Vieillevie, Grand Vabre (see Komoot), canoeing (see asvolt.fr); and very hospitable and authentic local food at family restaurant Chez Marie in Grand Vabre. NB: Pool and restaurant can be pleasantly noisy; opening hours are kept tight, from 10am - 7pm (s.), and 11pm (r.). Tip Casper & Daniek: Couples without kids prefer the safari tent a bit further away. :-)

    Mooie familie-camping in de schaduw direct aan de Lot voor waterplezier en verkoeling. Casper en Daniek zijn vriendelijk, enthousiast en gastvrij. De gegrilde kip (zondag) en pizza (donderdag) zijn ‘extraordinaire’. Wij zaten in een safari-tent (goede bedden; complete voorzieningen; geen sanitair; verrijdbaar keukenblok!) 2 wkn in juli 2024. Activiteitentips in de buurt: gezellige ‘marché de producteurs de pays’ in de dorpen rondom (in Saint-Parthem op woensdag); lange boswandelingen van 2 tot 4 uur met minimaal 200 stijgingsmeters, bijvoorbeeld bij La Vinzelle, Vieillevie, Grand Vabre (zie Komoot), kanovaren (zie asvolt.fr); en zeer gastvrij en authentiek lokaal eten bij familie restaurant Chez Marie in Grand Vabre. NB: Zwembad en restaurant kunnen gezellig rumoerig zijn; de openingstijden worden strak gehouden, van 10 - 19 uur (z.), en 23.00 uur (r.). Tip Casper & Daniek: Stellen zonder kids bij voorkeur de safari-tent wat verder ervandaan. :-)

    Beautifully situated campsite on the Lot. A quiet and peaceful place Arrival and registration completely uncomplicated and nice. A very friendly tenant couple from the Netherlands manage everything here. The sanitary facilities were good and clean. However, in mid-September we were almost the only guests and had a free choice of pitch. There are no shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. Not even in the small hamlet of Saint-Parthem, which is just a few minutes' walk away and has historic buildings and a museum. We will definitely be back.

    Schön gelegener Campingplatz am Lot. Ein ruhiges und friedliches Plätzchen Ankunft und Anmeldung vollkommen unkompliziert und nett. Ein sehr sympathisches Pächterpaar aus den Niederlanden managt hier alles. Sanitäranlagen waren gut und sauber. Mitte September waren wir allerdings fast die einzigen Gäste und hatten die freie Wahl des Platzes. In der unmittelbaren Nähe gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch nicht in dem, wenige Minuten zu Fuß erreichbaren, kleinen Weiler SaintParthem, mit historischen Gebäuden und einem Museum. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

    At this campsite you are always right. Been here many times before and now suddenly due to circumstances again for a few days. Really recommended ...delicious food and cozy bar. Very friendly people. Also suitable for families with children who have a great time there. So book.

    Op deze camping sta je altijd goed. Al veel vaker gestaan en nu plotseling door omstandigheden weer voor een paar dagen. Echt aan te raden ...heerlijk eten en gezellige bar. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Uitermate geschikt voor ook gezinnen met kinderen die zich daar geweldig vermaken. Dus boeken.

    Very nice campsite situated on the river under trees, clean sanitary facilities, very committed young operators with enthusiasm, lovingly equipped reception/bar. Pizza evening on Thursdays, small swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis, children's playground, all very lovingly maintained. We would love to come back here. Highly recommended .     Sehr schöner am Fluss gelegener Campingplatz unter Bäumen , saubere Sanitäranlagen, sehr engagierte junge Betreiber mit Enthusiasmus, liebevoll ausgestattet Rezeption/Bar. Donnerstags Pizza Abend, kleines Schwimmbad, Tennisplatz, Tischtennis, Kinderspielplatz , alles sehr liebevoll gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher. Sehr empfehlenswert . Vielen Dank für einen schönen Aufenthalt .
