General information

Domaine la chabanne, has 6 fully equipped safari lodge tents. Four of these tents have private sanitary facilities. The tent is over 35 m2 and has a spacious outdoor area, in the form of a veranda with a large awning. The lodge tent, is fully equipped and gives the absolute camping feeling of freedom and tranquility.

Lodgetents with private bathroom

The Lodgetents are luxuriously and comfortably furnished with good box-spring beds, a spaciously equipped kitchen, a luxurious barbecue, a nespresso, hammock and lounge sofas. Four of these Lodgetents also have a spacious bathroom next to the tent, with private shower, toilet, sink and dishwashing area.

There is 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. A 6th person can only sleep in a baby bed.

Upon arrival the Lodgetent is already set up for you and you only need to bring hand and tea towels. So you can enjoy the complete camping experience without having to carry your own camping gear. On departure day, all you have to do is pack your suitcase, tidy up the Lodgetent and get in the car. The cleaning will be done for you, so you can enjoy your stay carefree.

    Cancellation Policy


    A. Within 7 days from the date of the reservation confirmation, the reservation may be cancelled free of charge, except for reservations made within 6 weeks prior to arrival.

    B. In case of cancellation between 7 days after the date of the reservation confirmation and 6 weeks before arrival, the 30% deposit of the total rent will be charged.

    C. For cancellation between 6 weeks before arrival and 7 days before arrival, 90% of the total rent will be charged.

    D. For cancellation between 1 week before arrival and the day of arrival itself, the full rental fee will be charged.

    E. In case of earlier departure or later arrival than reserved, there will be no refund of payments made.

    F. You must cancel in writing.

    Very nice and clean campground. We had a wonderful time here. Nice pool, clean plumbing and nice owners. And of course a good restaurant on the campsite. The distance to the supermarket is 20 minutes, but because of the bread service at the campsite that's no problem. Highly recommended!

    Hele mooie en schone camping. Wij hebben hier een heerlijke tijd gehad. Fijn zwembad, schoon sanitair en aardige eigenaren. En natuurlijk een goed restaurant op de camping. De afstand tot de supermarkt is 20 minuten, maar door de broodjesservice op de camping is dat geen probleem. Echt een aanrader!

    Keep in mind that not very close to a village. Pinning is not possible at the campground so please get some money before going up the mountain. 😎 Nice and friendly owners. The evening 'Ham on the spit' is really a must! They had specially reserved a spot for us because that night was on our arrival day. There are four showers and three toilets. It is clean. Pitches are large.

    Houdt rekening met het feit dat niet heel dichtbij een dorpje ligt. Pinnen kan niet op de camping dus even pinnen voordat je de berg op gaat. 😎 Leuke en aardige eigenaren. De avond ‘Ham aan het spit’ is echt een aanrader! Voor ons hadden ze speciaal een plekje vrijgehouden omdat die avond op onze aankomstdag was. Er zijn vier douches en drie toiletten. Het is schoon. Plekken zijn groot.

    The doom's are really great ! The kids really enjoyed the playground and the surrounding forest. Waking up in the forest was a nice experience. It is very quiet and Geert-Jan and Nikè are very hospitable and cozy. We would love to come back to this hidden little paradise !

    Very pleasant pitches. Clean toilets. Cold welcome, no communication, so the owners forgot to tell us that we couldn't leave the campsite between 8am and 5pm on Sunday (our departure day). Indoor pool never covered....

    We have been camping at La Chabanne for the past two weeks. We liked it very much! We had a spacious place with a beautiful view and plenty of privacy. In any case, the surroundings are very nice and green, mountainous and very suitable for hiking. Our children (6 and 8 years) had a great time with the other children on the campsite in and around the (bamboo) forest, the soccer field, in the pool, playground and so on. Facilities are well taken care of and that you can eat every day in the restaurant and order bread is also very nice. Once a week there was ham on a spit with a buffet, which was also very tasty. We highly recommend this campsite!

    Wij hebben de afgelopen twee weken gekampeerd bij La Chabanne. Het is ons heel erg goed bevallen! We hadden een ruime plek met een prachtig uitzicht en voldoende privacy. Sowieso is de omgeving heel mooi groen, bergachtig zeer geschikt voor wandelingen en een zwemmeertje in de buurt. Onze kinderen (6 en 8 jaar) hebben zich uitstekend vermaakt met de andere kinderen op de camping in en rondom het (bamboe)bos, het voetbalveld, in het zwembad, speeltuin enzovoorts. Faciliteiten zijn goed verzorgd en dat je iedere dag kan eten in het restaurant en brood kan bestellen is ook erg prettig. Één keer in de week was er 'ham aan het spit' met verzorgd buffet erbij, dat was ook erg lekker. We raden deze camping dan ook van harte aan!
