It's actually a quick story. Everything was far too cramped. We were traveling with a 7.5m caravan. When we pulled in we were told "Oh, you don't have a mover." So 5 men helped push it. Our pitch had a tree that provided shade, but we could only extend the awning 2.5m to the neighbor. We looked at the neighbor's white caravan wall. It was on the main thoroughfare without a hedge or anything else. So everyone passed him. Cars, people, etc. We had the shower/toilet house right at the rear. Small hedge in between. 3m away. As there are lots of campsites and tipi tents, the door was open/door closed until 2am. And entertained of course. There were groups of about 8 people in the tipi tents who talked on their terrace until 2am. Nobody cared that there were about 30 people on several terraces in the open field, laughing and making noise until late at night. Everything was so close together that there was constant conversational noise. Day and night. So you can't relax here. We have two dogs, which are of course on a long lead at the campsite. But they were only ours. Everyone else was constantly running around in parts. It doesn't bother ours, but there could be stress here. Conclusion: If you want peace and quiet, you've come to the wrong place. Very narrow, cars are constantly driving around because of the rental houses. There is always noise. We only used the sinks in the sanitary facilities. It's better to shower in the caravan. Very calcified and getting on in years. We won't be back.

Eigentlich schnell erzählt. Alles viel zu eng. Wir waren mit einem 7,5m Wohnwagen unterwegs. Beim Einweisen kam "Oh, Sie haben ja keinen Mover." Also halfen 5 Männer beim Schieben. Also alle an ihm vorbei. Autos, Leute, usw. Also entspannen geht hier nicht. Fazit: Wer Ruhe will ist hier falsch.

A cozy campsite with a fantastic view of the Meuse and bathing facilities right on the site. The sanitary facilities were basic but perfectly fine, especially if you have your own bathroom with your camper van. The owner was very nice and we felt very comfortable with our dogs. We will be back! 😊
